Abstract

Brave Young World is a film describing the work of The Concerned for Working Children (CWC) organisation in building children's participation in governance.

The film gives insights about children’s understanding of a participatory world. It shows how children are keen to be change agents by participating in decision making processes in arenas affecting their lives. This film takes the viewers through some of CWC’s efforts in collectivizing, creating and facilitating the political participation of children. It shines a spotlight on CWC’s philosophy that decisions regarding children should not be made for them, but should be made alongside them...
