Abstract
PHI 101: Aesthetics
Don Riggs
Drexel University
Hamburger! The blackboard has turned into hamburger!
The learned professor “would like to make the fine but essential distinction
between the ‘imagined’ and the ‘imaginational’ object,”
but he doesn't realize, re-reading his notes,
that the desks are now loaves, they are rising,
the blackboard’s a massive black sagging mattress of hamburger!
He clears his throat,
cleans his glasses.
Outside, the leaves of a dark bush
are poised in anticipation.
